......launching in or about November 2023, U.S. Company-I has posted
nearly 2,000 videos that have garnered more than 16 million views on YouTube alone.........Founder-I , and Founder-2 also worked together to deceive two U.S. online commentators ("Commentator- I" and "Commentator-2" ), who respectively have over 2.4 million and 1.3 million YouTube subscribers. ...mmFounder-I and Founder-2 are foreign nationals who reside in .the United States......Founder-I and Founder-2 jointly control and operate U.S. Company-I,..... Before operating U.S. Company-I.......Founder-I and Founder-2 worked directly for RT and its affiliates......Company-I is a United States corporation established under the laws of Tennessee.
On its website, U.S. Company-I describes itself as a "network of heterodox commentators that
focus on Western political and cultural issues" and identifies six commentators - including
Commentator-I and Commentator-2 - as its "talent."
The rule is not that you can't give any identifying information. It's that you can only name people charged in the indictment, so there's no ambiguity if someone's being charged with a crime or not.
When someone is named in an indictment, it means that a grand jury has formally charged them with a crime:
Another roll of an indictment is the accuse needs to have enough information to know the charges against them and some of the evidence to be able to prepare a defense.
Definitely not. I remember past indictments, esp the Durham ones, where everyone were guessing who the Person-1 etc were but it turned out to be different from what they were guessing. Here they give exact number of followers on the youtube channel!

Never said there was a rule about it.
The whole thing is pretty straightforward. Yet another FBI/DOJ operation to smear conservative commentators. My guess is that the two Russians are FBI informants, the founders were coerced/tricked into going through with this, and the actual Commentators like Tim Pool etc, who broke no laws would be smeard on headlines and try to push the narrative that all pro-Russian commentary is Russian propaganda.
Nothing really different from their fundamental goals, except this will have no rel effect on anything.
The indictment has plenty of info on what company they're talking about

Agreed. It looks like the indictment went out of its way to out the identities and give juicy headlines. well calculated smear job.
This is routine in indictments.

Those folks were obscure.
Also I just look at a Durham Indictment...come on, lots of obvious clues.
I can think of four or five Indictments off the top of my head where the identification was obvious on a first read.
The Durham Indictments were noted at the time as "talking Indictments."
Well the Russians got indicted, the founders did not.
By the way, Tim Pool tweeted this
I have been contacted by the FBI as a potential victim of a crime
The FBI believes I have information relevant to an ongoing criminal investigation and have requested a voluntary interview
I will be offering my assistance in this matter
