... so are Statins, which doctors prescribe like candy. One of the most profitable of all drugs, prescribed to fight a made-up disease, and which actually harms the patient...much like chemotherapy.
My former doctor (who recently "died suddenly") said in one conversation that he was so impressed with Statins that he would recommend that they be added to the water supply, much like fluoride. I did not know any better, and took them for a few years, until I learned about the harm they cause - at which point I just stopped taking them. I never even bothered to talk to the doctor about it.
Yes statins are one the worst. It also causes type II diabetes by inhibiting insulin to be able to work. This is a Feature of western medicine. One drug causing side effects/problems requiring more drugs for those problems.
I told my dr that the unremitting joint pain caused by the statin was making daily life a challenge. I now take half the dose and joint pain is gone. We had a discussion about alzheimers and the outer part of the brain being almost all cholesterol. She warned me of being helpless from a stroke. I need a dr at my age. Luckily she knew I wouldn't take the clot shot and didn't argue, so there's that.

We are on our own now...
