I saw a video last night from a lady in Boston suburbs who said the Venezuelans in her building barbecue guinea pigs outside for lunch - guess the ferral cats and rat problems may go away as soon as the pet shops are empty. Kidding - not kidding.
Yes. Was in Peru and many restaurants had Guinea Pig on the menus. Even the sidewalk signs would have a fried whole Guinea pig image, like a restaurant showing off their juicy hamburgers.
Haha! In Ecuador they put them in wire racks and BBQ them on the street food truck style. I made sure to only eat identifiable pieces of chicken or shrimp while there.
I literally saw video of "migrants" in NY BBQing rats on the streets. They were selling them to other migrants. Anyone that can eat a rat can eat a cat. 🤮

People have no idea. To see a Guinea Pig open and twisted teeth and all like a hog is a culture shock.
