Not unsurprising. Much like the student loans thing. They stand to make a shitload of money as Uncle Sam is covering the Haitians Rent. And if the Haitians destroy the property. The Housing Market is still in such a state. They could probably find someone willing to buy the property at asking price. Provided the price isn’t excessive
