After spending 15 minutes on this issue, I'll be seriously surprised if that whistle-blower or affidavit even makes the light of day.
Because I seriously doubt either the whistle-blower or the affidavit are real.
Even PJ Media author thinks so.
"That said, I'm skeptical. If such a whistleblower exists, the individual would likely speak with someone well-known with a reputation that people would trust or negotiate with a news network. Who is this X/Twitter user and why is he getting this scoop?"
I've seen the sauce X account before. Was not impressed.
If this turns out to be a scam, clickbait or disinfo from this account, it would serve us to really question why so many are so easily led astray.
There is a lot about the debate to be critical of, and its the bias was apparently so obvious, ultimately its all backfiring. But a sensationalist report of "whistleblower" and "a secret affidavit"... do these help the public absorb the reality and the bias, or is it just a disinfo bomb injected in order to a) exploit the moment or b) divert people's attention and further discredit ACTUAL information and ACTUAL critical thinking?
If I'm wrong, that's fine. Such a whistleblower and affidavit would be devastating.
But if I'm right, then all frogs should really think about HOW information warfare is played out. As always, there as scum willing to self-benefit from the conflict. And as always, there are bad actors seeking to undermine the truth, because actual critical thinking and discernment are the enemy of lies, and it is these that the enemy seeks to undermine. And one way is to inject fake and false narratives that play to one sides biases, but which ultimately undermine the aforementioned critical thinking and discernment.
