According to the Canton Police Department, Allexis Telia Ferrell, 27, allegedly first stomped on the cat's head in order to kill the feline.

Court records detail that Allexis has been charged with injuring animals, disorderly conduct and prohibitions regarding companion animals. On Monday during her arraignment, she got an initial bond that was set to $100,000. Allexis is set to return to court on August 26.
