Why does Trump keep bragging about those stupid ventilators?

From everything I heard, those ventilators were death machines during the COVID era. Every body that was hooked up to one ended up dead.

Yet, DJT always mentions distributing these ventilators as one of his achievements during the COVID era.

No, the ventilator scare was before anyone even had a timeline on vaccines. But Trump supplying ventilators was indeed removing one of the media attacks of Trump being unprepared and unsupportive. Also the lack of ventilators was another pretext to sends people back to nursing homes.
