Whatever tech the civilian sector uses, it's between 25-50 yrs (maybe even longer now) behind whatever the U.S. Govt has already R&D'd and perfected, as well as a perfected method of defeat before the "dumbed down version" goes to a civilian company for marketed use. The crazy thing is, is that in a lot of cases, the govt will pipeline some technologies to certain civilian companies in a way that makes the scientists and engineers at those companies believing that the ideas were theirs and theirs alone. (Think about that last sentence. Now, think about it again and ponder the implications of what I said.)
Use that knowledge when hearing stories about SpaceX or "hypersonic missiles" or Ukraine using drones in the battlesphere, etc, etc, etc.
There was a RAND Corp employee from South Africa who came out around 2010 and said they had a quantum computer up and running within South African intelligence as early as 1994. No way to confirm his story but I wouldn't be surprised if quantum computers existed then within the military and intel communities.

Ayy Lmao Reverse Engineering
Just my thinking Q team are the ones using the Quantum Computer. That would be the only way to search out every scenerio!
Why doesn't someone ask Siri, AI, Alexa, or whatever is out there about how long quantum computers have been around and who profits from their power.
There is no telling what technology they are hiding from the public---for our safety! Keke
