My 3 yo is fearless in the playground. Climbs what he wants and doesn't ask me for help. If he does ask, I make him figure it out. If he just can't reach something, then I help. The other parents look at him, comment and then see their kid crying cause <whatever it is> is to damn confusing. Both my boys I made them figure it out. The 5 year old is a bit fragile but he wants to do karate so he can break boards, so I gave him a 2x4 and told him break this first lol
