We need a serious administration that takes firm measures to reset the trajectory of our country. We need to reset the great reset.
While I tend to be more conservative in temperament and hate government overreach, our current situation leaves no time for weakness. The levers of power need to be wielded competently, effectively, and aggressively to dig our country out of the ditch it's in. Moderately better isn't enough. We live in a big world and big government is the norm. I'd love to live in a world where things are done locally again, but we're not there yet. Not even close.
So I think we need a new Trump deal. Employ young men, the free market isn't doing it right now. Make sure our food is safe and clean and cut out microplastics. Build housing. Mass deportations. Jacksonian civil service reform. As much as I'd like to just shit on the federal government, these last 4 years show what happens when real leadership is not present. Our country desperately needs a thoughtful realignment.
IMO --- FDR was a communist
FDR lied his way into WW2, which ultimately lead to the deaths of millions of European Christians and the destruction of hundreds of thousands of historic buildings.
Almost like he had an agenda.
He was a very effective communist
Trump needs to get the Military and the DOJ. to Enforce the US. Constitution and Bill of Rights To The Word by enforcing the obvious treason of the soros/obama/clinton/newsom/harris COUP that has destroyed the USA. Then build US. Capitalism back to the world leader.
Maybe he could get then to take an oath..........
It will take generations to turn everything around. You aren't going to suddenly instill work ethics in young people. Youth today are entitled, broken, or both. Other than work-related injuries, I have called off work less than 10 times, and have been late for work less than 5. I have paid into SS 45 years, but worked cash jobs for several years in my youth, and didn't work for several years as an adult. However, I have never been on the dole either. I worked all the overtime I could get, side jobs, and second jobs.
Young people are late, call off, play on their phones, and don't work any more hours than the have to.
Young people will work their entire lives just to barely afford food and rent. College degrees are worthless. Trades are becoming oversaturated and diluted by foreign labor. Older people have no idea how many incentives for hard work have been removed by greed and corruption.
Even the laziest zoomer would show up on time if it guaranteed a house and a wife who could stay at home and a pension. Companies don't offer workers a good deal anymore.
That ship has probably sailed. You could probably succeed in decentralizing to an extent. But you’re unlikely to succeed in reverting back to some mythic bygone day of local everything. At least without a couple generations of constant effort.
At the moment. The market incentive is to automate where at all possible. Which would cut into entry level Jobs often held by Young Men.
Trump tossed down the Mars by 2029 Gauntlet during his Carolina speech. Pulling a Renaissance Spain and opening a new frontier to aimless Young has some potential in absorbing the world’s dissatisfied and disaffected Young. The first waves of Spanish Colonists and Conquistadors. Were largely 2nd, 3rd, and 4th Sons with no real inheritance. Bankrupt Merchants trying to escape creditors, And washed up and or disgraced Nobility seeking to reinvent themselves. All seeking to build a new life
Possibility of owning your own land, adventure, and the possibility of wealth and prestige from mineral resources. Would be a major draw particularly for aimless young men who feel like they’re lacking a purpose here. And there’d be work for people who don’t necessarily have the “Appropriate Education” to work here on Earth in an environment increasingly prioritizing skilled work over general labor.
As it could be decades before any prospective Martian colony would develop to the point of deploying the sort of automated systems that are forcing said people out of the Job here on earth.
In fact I wouldn’t be surprised if that’s part of the plan. To address part of our problems. News from the Frontier would certainly generate many positive headlines. And frankly feeling like we had a future as a species would probably spur a population boom.
Our market couldn't be further from a Free Market than it is. It is actually less of a free market than the USSR was because they had a semblance of a free market in their black market.
We don't need the government to build housing. We just need a free market. With a genuine free market, opportunities would abound. People would be able to take care of their own shit. You wouldn't even recognize the world if we had one.
No, that is not what has happened. What has happened in the past 4 years is a theatre show designed to show corruption in the system.
The solution has nothing to do with an increase in power in the government, but a desolution of it. I appreciate you think that we need to "effectively, and aggressively to dig our country out of the ditch," but frankly, that has already happened. We just don't realize it because of the kayfabe showing on a theatre near you.
As for FDR, he was nothing but a Rockefeller puppet whose entire purpose in his particular theatre act was to create the structure required for a One World Communist Government with the Capitalists as the shadow leadership of it.
For those that don't realize, "communism" is the end game for capitalism. Both are the same system with a few bits and bobs that make it look different to the masses. For the most part, the vast majority of people do not understand what either communism or capitalism are. Them being "at odds" in the common understanding is fundamental to The Grand Illusion.
Government regulations or industry support leads to monopolies and cost to the end user.
This is the damage done by lobbying.
Lobbying is more of a pretense than any actual influence. The control of Megacorp on government is long, long ago complete. Lobbying serves mostly as an illusion to keep people from seeing the real systems of control. Please see my report.
You have the cart before the horse. Monopolies create government regulations to ensure monopolies stay monopolies.
And, so that you can appreciate the scope, there is only a single monopoly in the world. That is the primary conclusion of my report.
Thanks. Will read it at some stage.
Democrat (COMMIE) FDRs big "aggressive" government is what got us into our current mess. It amazes me that anyone who's lived through the last 5 years can still believe that more government is the answer to any of life's problems. Time for everyone to wean themselves off the taxpayer teat and learn to be self-sufficient again.
Corporations are the #1 extractors of taxpayer money. It's bailouts, subsidies, corruption.
FDR was a POS. I think you meant as effective at his goal more than in line with his policies but I've been surprised a few times about stuff I've seen on this site
