Ha, ha! I didn't witness anything evil either. You want to know some secrets? As a jobs daughter I wore a white robe, with a purple rope and a white band on my head. We memorized text, sang songs, studied the word of Job, etc. it was just another girl club. Whatever. There are lots of evil secret societies. So many we don't even know because they're secret! You shouldn't attack people personally when you didn't experience it yourself.
I didn't attack you. I don't know you. Your defensive stance says a lot though.
You did. You personally did. Quote, "Thankfully so. A family all initiated into secret societies definitely had the betterment of mankind in mind."
You're right I'm sorry. Shouldn't have referenced you just the organization. But making people who are part of the organizations realize what they are a part of and complicit to is key to stomping these out. I apologize but I stand by my beliefs
And I know I burned that bridge but I would love to hear about your experiences in those groups
Apology accepted. I'm not defending the the organization. What I'm saying, is in my 64 year old year experience I did not see, hear of, or experience anything directly evil. Was I blind as a child, possibly. As I mentioned, I was a rebel. I didn't like stupid rules and "dropped out" of Jobs Daughters in 1975. I'm the black sheep of the family. My eldest sister has been the Grand Guardian of the Grand Bethel in Ca for several terms and stays involved to this day. Do I look back at things differently now? Quite a bit. But the local lodges and Bethel members aren't evil people themselves. I will say that my sister's responsibilities and her husband in Shriners stopped going to church because of their commitments to these organizations, so yes the devil has an active role. Although, churches are infiltrated too. It's why I'm the outcast. Never liked group think. Ask away.
