I highly recommend a VPN like SurfShark with a CleanWeb feature that blocks ads, trackers and malware. Also, I use Brave as my browser and you can adjust your privacy shields to remove most ads. I rarely see ads on TGP, and I know my VPN is off when I do.
I am sure you do most of these things, but for new anons, it is a good standard of practice to use a VPN and a browser with privacy features.

I used Brave with uBlock for a while, although being Chromium based it will at some point receive the same update to weaken uBlock that Chrome did.
I had no problems with the combination anywhere I went.
Now I use Firefox with uBlock, just because it's the only really viable non-Chromium browser even though I don't like their politics either.
Zero problems here either.
Thanks u/Dazzy
I use one browser with tight privacy controls and features for news and web search, and then use another for work-related tasks and times when I am okay with cookies, etc. so I don't have to keep logging in.
Many good browsers to choose from on both computers and phones.
