My mom has terminal pancreatic cancer and the oncologist has stopped treatment and recommended hospice. They're giving her just weeks to live.
I just bought the ivermectin horse paste. I know its a long shot. Hail Mary at this point.
I know many here have experience. Please help. How much should i dose her with? Will there be any negative side effects?
Ivermectin only helps for some cancers. You are better off getting Fenbendazole which you can also get at a vets. I have no idea how much should be given. There should be an instruction. If it is for an animal it would tell you this much per so many pounds just figure out what your mother weighs. If there is no instructions on the pack then call the vets tell him its for an animal and find out the amount per 100 pounds.
I think in the absence of evidence against it, and assuming no side effects, I'd be inclined to double or even triple the dose. May not have the time to find the perfect one and better to be too aggressive at this point than too cautious.
But that's just MHO, and I can only imagine what being in that position would be like.
Agreed. Im not a doctor, but there a lot of good empirical evidence to support its efficacy. If it was me, and someone I loved was on the end stage, “in case of emergency, break glass” protocols would be in effect.
