I hope all the voters in NC are paying attention. Probably not.
The areas most affected are still lacking power and phone service. The White House doesn't care about WNC other than maybe Asheville, because other than Asheville (leftist stronghold), we were never going to vote for Kameltoe Harris anyway. Besides, what's the harm in sacrificing one minor city (Asheville) when they can do nothing and leave most of the country folk who would be voting for Trump high and dry? They still have Charlotte and Raleigh they can count on.
We're still waiting to see what the Catawba does. More run off coming. RAL unaffected.
