I personally never liked him and thought he used the Bible as a shield to be a crappy person and hurl accusations at people. But largely stayed out of the arguments and drama. As it wasn’t my place to tell people what to believe and arguing over drama between two Men who were both grown ass adults seemed pointless as well.

Frankly the arguments at the time I stopped following the Lin-Flynn drama were rehashing the age old Protestant-Catholic feuds and arguments but with a new paint job.

We also had a similar situation back during JFKs election. Parts of Protestant America were losing their shit and dredging up the arguments again and insinuating all sorts of things about JFK and his loyalties. Simply because the man was Catholic.
