God allows them to hear us.
To what end? I'm sincerely curious. Are you saying that God allows angels and Mary to hear your prayers so that they -- what? Can answer them? Or transmit the prayers to Him? But He has already heard them. I don't get it.
It's like asking your friends to pray for you. The saints in heaven are considered our friends (and our spiritual family), and because the soul is eternal, they are more alive now than ever. Their prayerful intercession is even more powerful than the intercession of friends and family who are still living on earth. The taxonomy is:
The Church Militant = believers on earth
The Church Triumphant = souls (saints) in heaven
The Church Suffering = souls in purgatory, who will one day reach heaven
Of there are already saints in heaven then why does thesallonians tell us that Christ is coming back and raising the dead and psalms says there is no remembrance from the grave.
I don't know if angels hear our prayers specifically, maybe the do, maybe they don't, but one thing for sure, angels only take orders from God, and will only go to where God commands. Daniel 10:10-13 is an account of exactly this. Daniel humbled himself before God and prayed, 21 days later Michael finally showed up, but Michael told Daniel that the prayer was heard the first day, and God sent Michael to Daniel, but the enemy's dark forces delayed Michael for 21 days. There is a war in the unseen realms and our biggest weapon is prayer, knowledge of the Word and our faith. You should read it, it's fascinating. Daniel 10:10-13 gives a tiny glimpse into the job of Michael
