they don't need to be omniscient or omnipresent to hear you pray.
when somebody tags me in a comment, i get a notification. that doesn't mean i can perceive and be present at all parts of the internet at once. it just means there is a system where messages are relayed to the people they are relevant to.
Oh goodness. I honestly don't mean to sound disrespectful, but that doesn't make any sense to me. Where is the biblical support for this notion?
I'm just explaining the words that you are using.
As far as I know, the Bible doesn't specify the extent to which saints, angels, and archangels can perceive.
it does say there is much more to know than what is contained in it's written text, and that by forming a good relationship with God, you can be led to understand those things.
ask and ye shall receive.
That's what I've done. I've asked the catholics here on the board. And I'm waiting to receive.
oof..
Matthew 7:7 does not mean ask the catholics. Ask God, in prayer and ye shall receive.
How many places does the Bible remind to 'trust not in man', and 'lean not on the understanding of yourself or others'?
The Catholic Rule of Faith is Scripture + Tradition. Catholics believe Jesus gave us a church initially, not a Bible. The Bible came later through His Church.
The Protestant Rule of Faith is sola scriptura.
It's a different ecclesiology. I hope that helps!
