I live a out an hour south of SF and am well accustomed to the PGE outages, it occurs often enough that I have 3 generators (primary, backup and backup backup) off grid solar and satellite Internet. Between PGE and mother nature, being without power for a week is not unheard of in the SC mountains. Always be prepared. 😁
