Jesus' Way is the goal of all Christians, but even He knows that we fail all the time. As long as you ask for forgiveness, you're in the clear as far as He is concerned.
This was the justification given to me after praying about the possibility of having to kill for my country, when I was heading into the Navy.
(Besides, what did He say about harming His innocents? "Better to tie a millstone around your neck and throw yourself into the sea than to harm one of my children.")
It's been 30 yrs since I joined up, 21 yrs since I left, and I sleep like a baby at night, thanks to this. Not once have I ever felt bad or guilty for removing from this planet those that deserve death.
God's Commandment, "Thou shall not kill" is a misnomer. The correct translation is "Thou shall not murder." There is a very real and very distinct difference between the two concepts. Murder is killing done in cold blood, without remorse and for no justification other than in celebration and glorification of death itself, e.g. what Cain did to Abel. Killing, however, is needed to help cull and keep humanity as honest and pure as possible. In fact, I believe we are commanded by Him to kill when it comes to dealing with Satan and his minions, as that is the only way to deal with such evil. In this regard, "an eye for an eye, and a tooth for a tooth" is very much warranted.
Removing "people" like this "man" from the planet and preventing harm from coming to His children would be doing God's work.
I believe He would celebrate you and His Angels would sing your praise for it.

Thank you.
