The headquarters of Mossad, Israel's intelligence agency, was reportedly targeted by Iran in a ballistic missile attack last night, but it's unclear if the building was destroyed. A massive crater, about 50 feet wide and 30 feet deep, was spotted near the Mossad HQ, which suggests significant damage ยน ยฒ. However, the Israeli government hasn't officially confirmed the extent of the damage.
Iran's state TV claimed that the missile attack, dubbed "Operation True Promise II," successfully hit Mossad's headquarters, along with two Israeli military bases, Nevatim air base and Netzarim military facility ยน ยฒ. The attack was allegedly in retaliation for Israel's recent actions against Hezbollah and Hamas leaders.
It's worth noting that Israel's defense systems intercepted many of the incoming missiles, but some still managed to land in central and southern Israel, causing minimal damage ยฒ ยณ. The situation remains tense, with Israel vowing to retaliate against Iran.
