I went shopping at walmart today and it was pretty busy for a weekday. Some people seemed to be loading up on items and some looked like they were only buying what they needed at the moment, however there may be a lot of people who don't know about the strike. Like my daughter's bf & his mother had no idea, so she called to tell him so he could run by the store after work to pick up some necessities.
While shopping I overheard a woman on the phone talking to someone and saying how another walmart in the next county over (which is not far away) was "wiped out" and for that person to come shop at the store she was at.
Saw quite a few people with full carts.
Has anyone else noticed anything different at your local stores? Are the shelves being wiped clean yet?
