Leaving Egypt, the suffering is one tenth, one hundredth, one hundredth of the suffering that would be here, right now, unless the difficult path was taken.
Doing things this way has not CAUSED the suffering. It has reduced it.
And if you think that white hat "let" these things happen, you're missing the real picture (imo). Not doing things this way would mean NOTHING could be done.
It's not that so many people are dumb or brainwashed that caused the suffering. It is the EVIL that made things this way. Don't blame the dumb or ignorant. Blame the evil that created the situation.
And know that God suffers along with you, and he feels it 1000 times more than you do.

I blame both.
There are those of us who are on God’s side and those of us on the Devil’s side.
Normies seem to be on no side. They don’t care and they just exist. They seem to only care about their fantasy football team.
After a certain point the enabler is nearly as bad as the abuser.
Our job is to help rescue them. We cannot do that if we are consumed with blame, anger, resentment or frustration.
If its a spiritual war, then we must win the spiritual battle.
