The only reason why they didn't steer the hurricane over Texas is because Ken Paxton would have sued the living daylights out of the feds. Besides, if they did not mess with Hurricane Helene, it would have exited the United States through Savannah as a tropical depression after making landfall in Florida as a tropical storm.
