I knew exactly what you were referring to when you wrote it.
I was just using how you wrote it as an opportunity to refine the perspective/zoom out and point back to God and provide encouragement to those who may read what we talk about here and walk away feeling overwhelmed or without recourse.
God doesn't actually send anyone to hell. People who are there, are there by Their Own Choice. God gave them what they wanted - a place without Him.
God also could have destroyed the devil and the fallen angels - instead, he allowed them to continue existing because through their rebellion, God would be able to show that He is the Almighty and reigns with complete sovereignty, despite the wicked desires of evil.
God is Good.
God has no limits.
But - we're not God.
So our version of "Good" will always be limited - until we ask God to replace our version of "Good" in our minds, with His.
Then, the Good that God does through us, will have - no limits.
Btw - God wins. ;)
I see what you're saying.
God is all-powerful, all-seeing, all-knowing, all-good.
BUT we're talking about different things.
I'm saying that Evil has no limits because it will do things beyond your imagination in terms of evil.
For example: Joe Biden has no limits on what he's sexually attracted too. He seems to be a real "Pansexual".
When I say that Good has limits, I'm saying good people will NOT do certain things, they draw a line. They control themselves.
For example: A modest woman will not wear a micro bikini or a bra out in public, she has limits on what she will wear.
God has limits in that he cast out the devil from heaven, and all of the fallen angels that betrayed him.
God has limits in that he sends evil to Hell. Not everyone goes to Heaven.
That's what I'm talking about, I should have been more specific, that's my fault.
edit: More examples,
Greed has no limits.
Taking only what you need so that you donβt also take from others is Good limitation.
Promiscuity has no limits.
Loyalty/monogamy to your soul mate is Good limitation.
All good, Qtoad!
