Yep you're wrong lol. Once a storm hits tropical storm force winds, they are named the next name on the hurricane list, for hurricanes out the Atlantic. There is an entirely different system set up for storms in the Pacific - typhoons, cyclones and hurricanes are all the same type of storm, labeled differently based on where they originate. Atlantic Ocean forming storms are what become hurricanes.
I think Milt is a tropical storm- different naming convention. Could be wrong.
