UPDATE FROM YOUR LOCAL ISRAELI

none of this should have happened in the first place

its been a year since my first update, which was back in the PAs of the old server. ive experienced 3 EAS alarms today. One at 5:30 AM, when there was an EAS alarm in the city near me about a houthi drone, one during school because of missile firing and one rn, because of a houthi missile. Thats not the point of this update.

Its been a year since october 7th, 2023. a year since the unprecedented, horrific and deadly attack happened a year since hostages were taken a year since people dancing in festivles were killed a year since war broke loose for the SINGULAR INTENT of murdering every Israeli in sight.

We could have avoided this. We could have brought back the hostages. We could have been living a normal life. We could have we could have we could have we could have WE COULD HAVE?

THIS SHOULDNT HAVE HAPPENED IN THE FIRST PLACE!

The government is YET to claim ANY SORT OF RESPONSIBILITY for the attack they KNEW was going to happen and yet did NOTHING ABOUT!

1600 ISRAELIS SHOULD BE ALIVE RIGHT NOW THOUSANDS OF GAZANS SHOULD BE ALIVE RIGHT NOW 101 HOSTAGES SHOULD. HAVE. BEEN. BACK. BY. NOW!

I remember waking up to the sound of sires, shaking of fear by the 2nd hour of never ending rockets, of the videos going around about people taking hostage, burned alive, stabbed, shot... fires roaming from rockets that fell on cars, MDA amublances being bombed by hamas drones dropping bombs.

I remember my aunt's sister who was murdered at the nova festivel

I remember thinking... Just another small attack... this will end in a week...

I remember when my dad brought home a "doorknob shield" in case terrorists infiltrate my city... something that will hold the door shut and give us the best chance to stay the fuck alive.

The hostages. Oh my god. I cant even explain what i feel when i think about what they are going through. What theyve been through. Imagine being tied up, beat up, shot, raped (men and women should i state!) all to be forgotten about by your very own government.

This could have been avoided. This could have never happened. THIS COULD HAVE NEVER HAPPENED IN THE FIRST PLACE! none of this should have happened.

i shouldnt have to have my own channel to update people i dont even know yet care so deeply for about my own life, living in a state that may cause the breakout of one of the biggest modern day wars.

a state led by terrorists and criminals. a state that is supposed to protect israelis yet failed to do so when it mattered most. a state that had ONE JOB and BLEW IT!

its been a rough year ive changed a lot mentally and physically on a personal note, the war helped me get my life back together. helped me get over being overweight, started to work out consistently helped my mental health learned to trust people again learned to enjoy and make use of time alone learned that the most important thing you have is the people around you. without them, youre worth nothing.

i hope in the next few weeks or months i can update "its over, the hostages are home, the war is over. thank you for everything we've been through. i love you all. signed for the last time! aspect..."... seems like its only getting started. seems like this whole thing is far from over.
