I used to think it mattered, but for me, bloodlines, history of who screwed over who etc, isn't going to change anything because the past is a graveyard... you can only be present and move forward.
1 Timothy 1:4 - neither to pay attention to myths and endless genealogies, which cause disputes, rather than God's stewardship, which is in faith --
Titus 3:9 - but shun foolish questionings, genealogies, strife, and disputes about the law; for they are unprofitable and vain.
It’s kindof important, but unprovable, not worth fracturing disputes, and wiser to avoid. I like to try and approach these things from a testing and epistemological angle, but even there… it’s possible to end up in hot water. Imo just avoid making judgments based on them, but even that might be too lax.
