The nickname "Diaper Don" came about because of reports that the President wore one while filming The Apprentice. President Trump likely wore them during the filming of the boardroom scenes and that made sense because filming likely took hours compared to the seven to ten minutes we saw per episode on NBC. Anyway, this has led some rally goers to wear diapers in support of Trump.
There were likely some breaks, but the portions with the contestants likely ran for a few hours or more. Boardroom day likely started at around 10 am with the losing team summoned to it. They were let out for lunch with the project manager being told to select two candidates for a possible firing, but that could be around 3-5 pm. Then Donald would debate the situation with his assistants with him then sending in the "finalists" at around 6-7 pm. They then would get about an hour to plead for their jobs before Trump makes his decision. It would be after 11 pm when the fired contestant leaves Trump Tower.
Disclaimer: This is just speculation on my part since I have never been there, but this is what I suspect happens.
Ok, that’s a ridiculous speculation. Adults can hold their bladder for hours on end and voiding one’s bladder takes only a few minutes. Not only that but everyone on the set would need to wear diapers as well, ranging from cameramen to contestants.
I understand that you are speculating but there's no way Trump is going to have things set up where he has to wear a diaper and sit in his own waste in his own building on his own show.
True, but I think Trump only wore a diaper only to hedge against a possible accident. How professional would it be for him to say that he needs to go to the bathroom while contestants are arguing over a blown task? It is possible that President Trump never had to go in a diaper, but it was there just in case.

The boardroom was in the Trump tower. I'm going to guess that there was a restroom pretty close by.
It's not like the camera ran continuously for hours without breaks.

Strange. Not sure how I feel about that. I can hold my waste for many hours.
I’m pretty sure said reports were anonymously reported. 🙄
