Asheville Mountain Alchemy is a "vacation home rental agency."
Hmm, strange name for a rental agency. Also, it's open 24 hours?
Town Mountain Road is also known to be a road associated with Satanic happenings, kidnappings, and the like. See this archived link for more details, although we don't know how much of it can be verified.
Idk, I feel like zig zagging would be more troublesome, doing it spiral fashion all you're doing is curving a bit, and even going straight in some stretches
I guess it would also depend on overall the terrain elevation of course, where it drops more and whatnot.
Also to be completely honest, I have 0 experience with this, it was just the first thought I had about building a road up a mountain.
I know, which obviously makes sense too, but with all the weird Satanic, pedo, and tunnel stuff around that area, just the shape of the road kind of gives me unsettling vibes.

Thoughts?
Well, first thought is that a spiral road is simply the easiest and most efficient way to go for a mountain
But who knows
Is it though? Seems zig zagging up one side “switchback” method is most common, and probably a lot less costly.

There is no road in the bottom right corner forming the triangle, Without this there is no pattern, just a standard mountain road with switchbacks
Nice catch.
