In the case of COVID, there were several perfectly safe, long-used (by millions of people over decades) pharmaceuticals and supplements (ivermectin, HCQ, quercetin and/or green tea plus zinc, etc) that were both very safe AND had shown, even early on, strong prophylactic and curative effects against COVID -- unlike the deadly and expensive Remdesivir that Fauci & Co pushed on many unfortunate COVID sufferers.
