Indeed we need to look into it more deeply.

I would guess 1933 is a time where things were changed with the entry of UCC, positioned as a "harmonization" of admiralty law, which was on certain places, applicable.

The assholes of CBDC are now trying to persuade state legislators to accept CBDC under UCC .....

The same way, you would not notice that the post-office is a member of the Universal Postal Union, thereby incurring duties based on postal codes and DEI.

The same way for water authorities.

A short while ago, I noticed some water authorities, which were the oldest democratic institutions in The Netherlands, were actually contract bound in a national and EU-union, supplanting the influence of the local people. ....

Consequently, UK financial regulators established a deadline of 2021 for financial firms and investors to complete their transition away from the LIBOR.[3]
