My first ancestors on “American” soil were Spanish conquistadors in 1520-ish, and those guys absolutely cleared out some natives. I won’t apologize for that, I wasn’t there. Neither was anyone else alive today 🤷🏼♀️ You cannot examine & moralize history through a modern lens, because those conditions didn’t exist back then.

I would have had Europeans do the conquering of my ancestors than most of the Asian peoples.
The Asian peoples would have most likely slaughtered every last Indian and left zero survivors.
At least the Europeans allowed the Indians to live I their own areas.
