A bit of a tough call in my opinion. They trimmed up to maximize the blast, but had they not trimmed up, they would have run the risk of slamming their own boat into the wall. They had the motors turned pretty hard to the right to get them.
If those propellers were under water, that boat would have launched hard to the right.
The only concern I have is that
Isn't running your outboard at high speeds, when not fully submerged, hard on the engine?
I would truly hate to hear that a Pede damaged his boat, while doing the world a favor.
Na, people do this all the time with outboards. If you run an outboard out of water, or without water in the lower unit, you could damage one, but this sort of thing is fine. I am sure they dropped the props after the wash.
I would have followed with a few buck shot to the hull of their boat
