It’s happening for sure. The Cajun navy was born bc of this crap. Locals making food and driving down for fema to take, throw in dumpster, and get caught eating.
Not that it’s right, BUT it’s due to regulations. For example, they can’t give out energy drinks bc they don’t meet health regulations. (Rolls eyes) That being said, it’s complete bullshit. The Cajun navy was rescuing people for days, FEMA shows up and they shut down the boat launch. Well, a neighbor opens up his launch and they move command. The gulf coast is ready for emergencies, huge lessons learned after Katrina. NC has never had to deal with something like this so it’s a shitshow when it comes to leadership. The “misinformation” is a tactic of hiding what’s really happening. Boots on the ground are telling the truth. Here’s a couple of great things to share.
This interview is about an hour but it gives a great description of what’s happening and that was awhile ago. They are special force group put together by Desantis.
It's not that NC can't deal with it, because the veterans had everything in hand as soon as they self-organized with helpful civilians, in Christ's name. It's that democrat selected governor Cooper (an impossible win) has held the NG and prevented rescue and recovery operations.
I agree, it was the leadership for sure. I just meant since they don’t have as many situations, as say FL it was unorganized at the least purposeful more likely. I was on a FB nc Helene page last night and they are censoring things coming out of there. I was talking to someone on the ground and they kept removing our conversation.

Amazing how they can do that, but are helpless to censor human traffickers and groomers
