That meme implies that no date fagging has taken place today. Think about it, the sign already reads "0 days since date fagging", and Fry is walking towards it with a new number, presumably to change it. If date fagging had occured today, he could just leave the 0 up there. He must be holding a 1 to change the value, implying the most recent date fagging occurred yesterday.
