I stopped going to the cinema years ago, but more recently as part of my job as a carer, I've caught a few movies as some of the people I support have wanted to go, including the new Beetlejuice.

Every fucking film is preceded by wall-to-wall mixed-race family DEI ads and trailers, and an ineffably egregious 'Save the African Children' thing about 'every day the catastrophic effects of climate change becoming more apparent'.

All of the films I've seen these played at are films that children and young people would typically be expected to want to go and see.
