She could be a well paid double agent. If the white hats got to her and offered her a choice for a fortune to play ball instead of life in prison for some reason, that might work. I'm wondering how far we would go to save the world in a psychological war.

The entire year has been pretty... Chill. At least, compared to what we all speculated:

World War 3 on the brink, causing a draft
Pandemic / Lockdowns 2.0
Mega stock crash
Tawain being invaded
Mike Obama entering the race
Illegal migrant sleeper cells being activated
More shootings
George Floyd 2.0 / BLM riots

For the most part, October surprise isn't too surprising
