Young People Can't Stand Harris
Q-analysis!
Earlier this year a lot of normie girls I know were really excited about Harris. They didn't particularly like Biden so they were energized by the change in pace and shift in the overall "vibe" of the campaign. It felt like the DNC was finally trying to do something cool and popular.
Now they're pretty much done with this campaign. They still don't like Trump but they don't like Harris either. They say she's fake, cocky, annoying and pandering to Republicans. The Dick Cheney thing really turned a lot of people off, that and her changing her position on so many issues. The "vibe" is now that she's Hillary 2.0 and no one is excited for it.
Ya Love to see it. I've noticed the older generation making fools of themselves, though. Some people i respect cant see through the nonsense. Makes me wonder if they were a dumbass all along and I just didn't see it.
My theory is it's the cold war propaganda doing it. People who grew up after 9/11 don't like or trust the US establishment at all. Older Americans seem to see it in a way more favorable light because it defeated communism and fought for "freedom" or something. It's totally out of touch for today's world.
America didn't defeat communism. Communism defeated itself.
America embraced communism, in its most absurd, woketarded form.
I agree. Hollywood may have painted a picture that America defeated communism, but when you really look at things, it has always lurked nearby like a Chevy van with free candy painted on the side.
Yeah my dad has been slowly coming around, I think GWB siding with Biden and then Harris was a big redpill for him. He utterly despises the Cheneys as well now. I remember being a bit surprised back when I said that the CIA killed JFK and he didn't even try to disagree with me, before Trump's first term that wouldn't have happened.
Good point. There is definately a connection there. That same group will hate Putin no matter what. Widely broadcast, televised propaganda was getting it's start not too long before that. Every word that comes out of the television box is truth to them. Interesting too cuz that generation coined the phrase "don't believe everything you see on the internet..."
Trump's a boomer
I'm more talking about trends here. Individuals can have different opinions within a generation.
