My darling (the cheezer expatriate) used to bring me a kringle from there from time to time, prob 20 years ago (when stopping to buy me flowers on the way home from work). The ingredients changed so hugely/radically. Just couldn't countenance eating them soon after, in addition to the downturn in quality. SAD.
Reminds me of the whole jab thing. All these super organic/biodynamic/free range everything people we knew...couldn't get that Pharmaslop in their bodies fast or often enough. And they were the most virulent and vicious when warned to be careful, or simply informed that there appeared to be reason to tread cautiously.
Same with the Norske Nook pies (Osseo). When they went from beef tallow and lard in the crusts to hydrogenated slop, the downturn was so massive (and sad).
OTOH, it was incentive to make all that stuff at home...so I guess it balances.
Look at the goyslop ingredients.
I remember when Ohlaf's kringles were made of FOOD.
And this is at Trader Joe's where people want good organic ingredients lol
YES, good catch.

Yup, 20+ years ago
