Of course, my mind goes in conspiratorial directions. But my family of 4 all went to breakfast then voted. We were each given a tiny sticky note with the number "003" on it. We all finish voting about the same time. There are two machines clearly branded "DOMINION" that we feed our ballot into. As I'm waiting for my family I realize, we're all putting ours into the same machine. The gentlemen at the machine is collecting everyone's stickies (2 others) and says, "Yours go in THIS machine". I'm just curious what the reason for the division of ballots is for.....

Where I vote several precincts may vote in the same room but not all ballot items apply to each address. For example I vote in the same roo as resodents of the city near me. So rightfully my ballot does not have the ability to vote for city council. Hopefully nothing nefarious going on where you are at
Agree. A multi-precinct voting center is what comes to mind.
VERY common for early in-person voting.
