Don't know how much truth there is to it, but I remember hearing something about the PVC from the broken windmills is getting melted down and added into gummy candy for texture or whatever. Just something I vaguely remember on this topic

unlikely. last I heard, the blades are impossible to recycle, so they bury them in the desert.
