So the feminism movement went off the rails pretty damn fast, but it did start from a good position, I think. When a woman is mostly dependent on the men in her life, that puts her in a very vulnerable position if there doesn't happen to be any good men for her to rely on. I had an aunt who was married to an alcoholic, and some of the stories she told me were pretty damn bad. He wasn't even a man who would become violent when he drank, but he used all their money on alcohol, to the point they had problems getting enough food, and they had 3 sons. The worst years for her were late 1940s, after the war, and 1950s.
And as far as I understand that was one of the early reasons why some women started to advocate for women to get an education and jobs of their own.
Now I think it would be good if we could get more mothers back home, but what if the husband turns out bad?
How would you solve this?

Thank you.
But dear God how I wish it were wrong...............
I see this at the heart of the whole race-mixing thing as well. Women literally haunted by the ghosts of Chads never born...having to settle for less...mad in a way they cannot define/no one presents them with reflection.
Such an egregious violation of every instinct...then they are presented with the fantasy that egregious violation of whatever instincts they have left IS VIRTUE. The more they hurt themselves, the more virtuous they are.
i have seen the race mixing issue as a scam on women. First the t.v. shows from a young age show friendly, happy, cool, and loveable minority groups. In person interaction also plays out on gender lines; black males are always polite, friendly, and good natured when dealing with women... but when black male interacts with white male, it's different, and common for the most trivial encounters to be contentious, and aggression is always a possibility. White males are unsure why white females are unable to see and refuse to admit reality. Anyone who doesn't see that Hollywood and media are weaponised against humanity isn't worth fighting for.
Yes.
The thing I have found hardest to live with during my oldfag life (early GenX) is having a sense of the depths and detail the weaponized media have on how people's hearts and minds work. Not only do they know what different people's "buttons" are, they install other buttons to be able to push them later. I was trained in all that (to my surprise; it's not why I chose the field I chose), and I learned all I could and left, to try to teach others how this stuff works, and how to protect against it.
I have ranted most of my adult life on the topic of the wounding and disruption of American men...but I have a similar sad concern about American women. I think the two groups' wounds are a bit different, though all trace back to what I wrote about earlier (the genocidal demographic disruption, particularly of nearly the entire 20th century).
Those weaknesses/injuries have been very useful soil bed for the demon seeds of the media.
Every day God confronts me with my own limits as I see these walking wounded women, lashing out at the very things they most want but cannot find, and my own reaction is negative, hateful, etc. That woman shrieking at the child in the stroller...others have used that as a meme, a hateful symbol, whatever. But I also saw a female so brutally ripped from her own roots as a woman and potential mother, I had to close my eyes and restore my center. Soul murder is lucrative, and I wish that the people who are constantly bashing on about "pro life" would develop a more Christlike understanding of how it could possibly be that mothers could reject their own offspring (which of course is related to them rejecting the male that seeded the pregnancy, but that's a different topic).
Thank you, A-A.
The cheap grace and simple self-satisfaction of many a pro-lifer is every bit as offensive as the mouth-foaming liberal who thinks casual abortion has no cost for women. It's offensive to me for politicians to be campaigning on the issue. I can accept that women cannot be forced to have a lifelong connection to someone, simply because he impregnated her.
When I was 13, my church youth group brought out the posters of the aborted fetuses without consulting parents, and I felt like this is something they weren't supposed to be doing- presenting the issue in moral judgment tones, and I didn't return. I was supposed to benefit from a positive social environment but some self-appointed moral crusaders were more interested in patting themselves on the back. This was 88-89, I'm almost 50.
We see the pinnacle of culture wars, but in the long run when each state has passed a constitutional amendment promulgating abortion rights, the left will no longer have a claim to protect the Supreme Court composition, and women will no longer be so interested in being a single issue voter. When I see the blue haired angry liberal, I see someone who can't afford proper nutrition but is embarrassed to admit their parents didn't build a good foundation for their development. We've been robbed by international bankers who provide unlimited loans only to whoever will wage unlimited war. Trying to do all the things for our communities - provide safety in a time of lawlessness, health in a time of mass poisoning, education in a time of disinformation, all seems exhausting... but humanity is re-kindled by even one person who can still think clearly. One of the first posts I found on this board was parasite pill and I've since passed it on to my doctor who I learned had studied parasitology in the military. I've explained to some of my family and neighbors, and told my poorest friends that horse paste has relieved my pain and restored vigor. It's not just ivermectin, almost all the horse worming pastes have been studied as effective on aggressive untreatable cancer. We have a new lease on life, just as the world appears to be getting de-populated.
