It is crazy up there - it is amazing how different eastern WA and eastern Oregon are than the northwestern areas. I think it has to do with control of the ports but probably just another conspiracy theory. We moved from Pt Townsend area to a couple states away - bright red but the college towns have had a big influx of libs. Glad you have parents to bug out to if needed, our kids know we are their back up plan too. Keep the faith!
