Changing the clock twice a year has always been about controlling you. There is no valid reason for it. The cows don't know what time it is for milking, and the kids will either go to school in the dark,or come home in the dark. It makes no sense.
This. It's the changes that causes the accidents and body clock issues. It is surprising how it affects us. I used to believe we should lock the clock on DS, but having reflected on it all from an awakened perspective, I now think the DS arguments are over-rated, it's more important to stick with one or the other. I now believe that the winter time-clock is more natural for most. I know it depends where you live and what you do in your life, and opinions will differ, but I think sleep / general activity patterns are more healthy in winter.
Exactly right. Messing with your internal clock causes stress.
Read your DS as Deep State without even thinking twice - need a break
Lolz, that read weird. I probs would have done the same on a different thread, didn't think of it tbh. Hope you get your break! :-) <3
Ugh, I don't want daylight savings year round. It effs up my sleep schedule, and it's mot freaking normal for it to be light outside at 9:30 pm. Leave it on normal time, ffs. You don't gain a freaking hour of sunlight! We need to do away with DST altogether.
I hate changing the clocks, but it needs to be permanent standard time. It's standard for a reason.
I'd prefer the extra daylight to be the new standard. It seems more natural.
Yes, please.
Nooooo. We don't want to stay on DST. We want to stay on regular time.
yeah more administration in our lives, NO THANKS. You do realize with real eyes that each presidency is called the administration because they are administering us don't you? Stick with real natural time, and let the chips fall where they may. the calendar is already sus as it is.
“realize with real eyes”
Reminds me of this guy I recently ran across. Check out his videos. This one is a good one to start with. It’s short.

Two offerings;
Leave it alone, no DST. If businesses want my patronage their open hours can be adjusted.
If it is going to happen, it needs to be on Wednesday at 2PM. If the "Chamber of Commerce" wants it, they can lose an hour of work in the Spring and pay an hour of OT in the Fall. No need for it to screw up my weekend for them. And DST-PTSD is a real thing so if I want to stay on standard time everyone else has to use my preferred time!
