Sorry. Maybe I'm a shallow a-hole but anybody with face tats gets a big NOPE from me. Glad he's voting for Trump or whatever but not going to glorify his music.
No need to be sorry. You're allowed to have your own opinion fren.
I won't dismiss a person based on their looks, even the blue haired land whales. The quality of his character impresses me so I'll continue to enjoy his music.
Same, a lot of "hot" clean faced looking people out there that may look fresh but, push nothing but trash negative affect lyrics. I like Toms messages in general, rather it is songs about getting clean, having faith, How the machine works against us all, His distaste of the music industry, anti woke or just straight up patriotism for normal folk. I think most his music is spot on for the subject he is talkin on, even when he is coming off as aggressive, it is not hate, it is actually positive, he is very good at the whole creating an entire picture in just a few-worded poem.
You should be judging people based on looks - it’s dumb boomers like you that get stabbed walking down the street because they don’t want to listen to their gut reaction when they saw some dark figure up ahead with sagging pants and instead of crossing the street like a sensible person was all like “I won’t judge a person based on looks” then gets knifed and robbed. It’s pathetic really
He fought and conquered his demons and made a huge success out of his life by speaking out from the heart against the evils around us all. So I support him, and his music, 100%.
Well as soon as he coughs up some of that cash he's raking in to get his face tats removed, and posts some kind of public testimony about why face tats are gay asf and why non-insane people shouldn't get them, then I don't have time for whatever else he has to say - I'm already here at the GAW there's nothing this dude can't tell me that I don't already know. Sorry but not really.
I hear you, and that was (admittedly) my gut reaction. However, I listened to the entire song, and honestly...I would rather be a fan of -- hell, friends and/or neighbors with -- this young man and woman than literally all of our current neighbors. Bearing in mind...that we live in one of the Northern Virginia bluetard-infested cesspools of the close-in D.C. suburbs.
In point of fact, I'd love to sit down and talk to these folks for awhile...and then walk around my disgusting neighborhood with them, so that we could actually SHOW the virtue signaling "HATE HAS NO HOME HERE" trash neighbors within a couple miles' radius, that there's a whole OTHER world outside this bubble.
I’m not a fan of any tats, but I’ve met more based neck tattoo’d women in the past 4 years… you can’t judge a book. I have to admit it’s hard to get passed my biases, but it’s cool to know that not everyone is who you think they are.
Was never a rap fan, but have come to like his music. He seems like the perfect American success story. Even from Canada.
edit: The band Flaw is more my style. They have a song where he just reads the amendments of the constitution.
edit2: Anyone on the fence, this song isn't really rap. It's actually mellow and beautiful.

I would rather look at him than John Legend.
