Welcome to General Chat - GAW Community Area
This General Chat area started off as a place for people to talk about things that are off topic, however it has quickly evolved into a community and has become an integral part of the GAW experience for many of us.
Based on its evolving needs and plenty of user feedback, we are trying to bring some order and institute some rules. Please make sure you read these rules and participate in the spirit of this community.
Rules for General Chat
-
Be respectful to each other. This is of utmost importance, and comments may be removed if deemed not respectful.
-
Avoid long drawn out arguments. This should be a place to relax, not to waste your time needlessly.
-
Personal anecdotes, puzzles, cute pics/clips - everything welcome
-
Please do not spam at the top level. If you have a lot to post each day, try and post them all together in one top level comment
-
Try keep things light. If you are bringing in deep stuff, try not to go overboard.
-
Things that are clearly on-topic for this board should be posted as a separate post and not here (except if you are new and still getting the feel of this place)
-
If you find people violating these rules, deport them rather than start a argument here.
-
Feel free to give feedback as these rules are expected to keep evolving
In short, imagine this thread to be a local community hall where we all gather and chat daily. Please be respectful to others in the same way

Exactly. You rely on this to be correct. Now what happens is the mortgage company’s pays the insurance, -BUT- the insurance company doesn’t apply it to your account.
Is this on purpose or just a mistake? In today’s world I believe it is on purpose.
For my area about ten years ago a federal agent kept comming to my house dangling his federal tags and wanting in my home and he wanted me to answer a dozen questions.
For hours I would talk to him on the public sidewalk in front of the house. My wife let him in one morning and he winked at me. To keep short now we are seeing people that can not drive and from another country living around here.
We were checking our insurance on our home and logged into the insurance companies website and it said it was expired. We called the mortgage company and they said they paid it.
Just a theory but just a few years ago we did see many antifa goons destroying all around the USA. Even I. This are antifa threatened.
So I believe people are organized within these companies and doing this on purpose. Those like us who finally find out they will claims—oppose we made a mistake and correct it. Yet the media will not speak of this either. How many other neighbors do I have am that rely on what we would consider normal?
My questions are for how many years was mine? Does the insurance company tell the mortgage company it is applied but then doesn’t apply it? If I needed to use it would I be denied if not applied? If hundreds of homes were destroyed around me would I just be ignored for years?
