Any others out there?
I wonder if a cure doesn't exist for my disease, much like many others, that isn't propagated because it's not profitable.

I'm certain there is. Working on it. Type 1 for over 30 years. Covid and GAW reinvigorated my search for a cure, and I've been doing many hacks to cure it based on any promising studies I could find, old or new. Trying to be the guy who publishes myT1DStory.rocks, but admittedly not there yet. Don't stop hoping and looking. If you or anyone beats me to it, I'll celebrate just as much.
Did a number of parasite cleanses to start. Hopeful studies to research include using vanadium as a supplement: it's been proven to cure t1d in rats. Also repeated fasting. There's a guy named Dr Valter Longo ... he cites fasting research (for his own thing, he's not researching T1D cures) and if you look at the studies he cites and go through their sources, you'll find links to studies showing that repeated quarterly fasts have regenerated ability to produce insulin. I've done 2 5-day fasts, and I believe they've made improvements in my ability to handle carbs.
You should also definitely look up the work of Dr Faustman at Faustmanlab.org if you're not already familiar: her papers in March-Apr 2020 effectively proved that T1D is an overload of glucose in the blood because of special cells that normally use glucose as their primary fuel that lose their ability to use it, which was a new discovery in the field. She's not funded by big pharma. She also proved T1D is linked to TB vaccines (certain TB vax schedules, not all of them).
Been strict carnivore since March. Highly recommend it. My basal requirement has dropped down to 0.45 units/hr from 0.8 before and had been higher in the past. Bolus insulin used to be around 18-20 units/day, now about 6/day.
Also look up PEMF therapies. I had my basal at 0.3/hr for a few weeks after a series of treatments with good results, but unfortunately that was transitory. (It did a great job removing some scaly keloids on my skin, though! Those haven't come back.) I plan to do more, but it's expensive.
Be careful with any of these hacks. Research them first. Carnivore requires a lot of conscious hydration to avoid constipation as a consequence. I wholly recommend it anyway- great circulatory benefits, and minor cuts and skin issues heal way faster than I had gotten used to. Vanadium is hard to tolerate and can easily ruin your day. Parasite cleanses too. If nobody else finds the cure first, I'll keep hacking away 'til I find it. I think that PEMF will probably be the easiest cure but the specific protocol hadn't been found (or disclosed) yet.
Don't give up. The truth is out there.
