DeSantis attempted to tackle the problem here in FL, but after talking with a bunch of construction company owners, it doesn't seem to have worked and no one is really sure why, other than the construction firms called the bluff by not filling out the required paperwork at both the State and Federal levels, and no one at the FL State level has really followed through with the proposed sanctions against the businesses and owners. And it doesn't look as if the Feds followed through, either.

This all just shows to me that the legislators in our govts are still just all talk, no walk and it was all just a political stunt to garner votes back in 2022.
