I have had great success supressing the symptoms of a TDS sufferer and it also works to prevent the spread by causing the afflicted person to keep their mouth shut. When someone is verbally symtomatic, simply ask them if they are able to name one or two of their representatives in Congress. I have successfully treated multiple victims of TDS this way because invariably they dont actually know what they are talking about.
