Um, misleading headline. That's a rather tepid and normal response to the question. In all times and places, those in any organization (Senate included), people will prefer their own counsel on their internal matters. There is no "threat" here, implied or otherwise.
Let's stop seeing enemies everywhere and start finding where the REAL enemies are.
While I agree that the senators don't want people in their business, they still work for us (at least theoretically). Maybe if people (including Trump) had stayed in their business the R senators may have actually taken some of the house bills to the floor or at least fought for Schumer to allow that. Instead (much like during Trump's first term) the Rs just stonewalled or ignored the house and Trump's requests. How could we have not gotten wall funding in 2017? Leadership including Mitch refused. Trump should've let Mitch lose his last election. We didn't have a majority anyway.
Thune is a real enemy. Leadership has been grooming him for a couple of years. He wants the power and will very likely get it. He is a complete NO in my book.
Cornyn is awful - only in it for himself (both as a senator and leader). I am a Texan and would vote against him in a general election just to get rid of him. Rumor has it that Ken Paxton will primary Cornyn in the '25 Primaries. Cornyn is a complete RINO and a total POS.
Rick Scott was an average 2-term FL Gov and has no senate leadership experience. He did however do a good job after Hurricane Irma. Scott pretty much bought the governorship with his own money (which I actually respect). Unfortunately he is the junior senator from FL (under Rubio) so he doesn't even have that going for him.
The only real choice I see is Rick Scott. The other 2 will be status-quo. If we waste a senate majority again, all the goodwill Trump built up to get elected a 3rd time will be gone.

I agree. We need to focus on truth and drop the sensationalism. Stuff like this is why I scoff at the idea of Loomer being part of Trump's admin.
Yeah, what the heck? If anything it looked more like optics. Imply he's not involved, even if he is.

On Dan Bongino's show today, he also has been strongly suggesting Rick Scott as the Majority Leader. So, sure... why not?
